GMDSS现代化已于2024年1月1日正式启动实施。在GMDSS现代化进程中，船舶通信技术迅猛发展，卫星和地面通信系统均涌现出诸多新技术。GMDSS业务及设备配备也随之发生显著变化，无需人为干预的智能化船舶正逐步成为现实。船舶通信作为智能船舶航行的核心功能，GMDSS现代化对船舶通信设备的性能标准提出了更高要求，从而进一步助力智能船舶的航行安全与效率。

The modernization of GMDSS has been implemented since January 1,2024.In the process of GMDSS modernization,ship communication technology has developed rapidly,and new systems of satellite and terrestrial communication have emerged.There have been new changes of services and requirements of equipmentof GMDSS.MASS is becoming a reality,and ship communication is the core function of the navigation of MASS.The modernization of GMDSS has also issued new requirements for the performance standards of ship communication equipment,further assisting the navigation of MASS.
